Il Vigno sits in the wild uplands of Caprese Michelangelo — 650 metres above sea level, surrounded by ancient chestnut forests. The landscape is dramatic, untouched and genuinely remote. No noise from roads. No neighbours visible. Just forest, sky and the rhythm of the farm.
The outdoor pool is open May to September. The sauna runs year-round. Morning yoga by the pool is possible in all seasons. And from the gates, forest walks lead to natural waterfalls and swimming holes within 20 minutes on foot.
Organic breakfasts are laid out each morning from 08:30 — fresh bread, farm eggs, seasonal fruit, local cheeses and homemade jams. The Farm Fresh Feast dinner runs Wednesday to Saturday, bringing guests together at a long table for a shared seasonal meal that usually runs several hours.
