VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
1. Skilled Organic/Regenerative Farming Volunteers
Volunteer Role:
We are seeking skilled and experienced volunteers to help manage the day-to-day operations of our organic farm. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise while working in a beautiful, collaborative environment. Your knowledge and skills will play a vital role in helping us maintain and improve our farming practices.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Leading or assisting with planting, crop rotation, soil health management, and composting
- Implementing and improving regenerative farming techniques, such as cover cropping, no-till practices, and integrated pest management
- Harvesting, pruning, and maintaining organic vegetable gardens and orchards
- Mentoring and guiding less experienced volunteers in organic/regenerative practices
- Assisting with farm infrastructure projects, such as building raised beds or installing irrigation systems
- Contributing ideas and strategies to enhance the sustainability and productivity of the farm
Ideal Candidates:
- Have proven experience in organic and/or regenerative farming practices
- Are knowledgeable about soil health, crop management, and sustainable agriculture techniques
- Are physically fit and able to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
- Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
- Have a passion for teaching and mentoring others
- Are responsible, reliable, and have a positive attitude
- Are willing to commit to a minimum of 2-3 months if not the entire season (April – October, 2025)
2. Kitchen Hand & Housekeeping Volunteers
Volunteer Roles:
We are seeking volunteers to assist in two key areas:
1. Kitchen Hand:
- Help prepare and cook delicious, farm-fresh meals for our guests
- Assist with meal prep, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Support baking and preserving activities using farm produce
- Learn about farm-to-table cooking and sustainable food practices
2. Housekeeping:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change linens, make beds, and restock guest supplies
- Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests
- Help with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as needed
Ideal Candidates:
- Have experience or interest in kitchen work, cooking, or housekeeping
- Are detail-oriented, organized, and take pride in their work
- Enjoy working in a team and interacting with guests
- Are reliable, responsible, and have a positive attitude
- Are willing to commit to a minimum of 1 -2 months, longer stays preferred.
3. Administrative, Marketing, and Social Media Support Needed!
Volunteer Roles:
1. Administrative Support:
- Assist with organizing schedules, emails, and farm/B&B operations
- Help manage bookings, reservations, and guest communications
- Support record-keeping, inventory management, and other office tasks
- Contribute to planning and coordinating events or workshops
2. Marketing and Social Media:
- Create engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
- Take photos and videos of the farm, B&B, and daily activities
- Help design promotional materials, newsletters, and website updates
- Develop and implement strategies to grow our online presence and attract guests
- Assist with storytelling to share our mission of sustainability and hospitality
Ideal Candidates:
- Have experience or interest in administration, marketing, or social media
- Are creative, organized, and detail-oriented
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
- Have strong communication skills and a passion for storytelling
- Are reliable, responsible, and have a positive attitude

4. Handyman and Maintenance Volunteers
Volunteer Role:
We are seeking skilled and reliable volunteers to assist with a variety of maintenance and repair projects around the farm and bed & breakfast. Your work will help ensure our operations run smoothly and our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Performing general repairs and maintenance on farm infrastructure, buildings, and equipment
- Assisting with carpentry projects, such as building walls, repairing fences, or constructing sheds
- Helping with plumbing, electrical, or painting tasks as needed
- Maintaining outdoor spaces, including pathways, gardens, and guest areas
- Troubleshooting and fixing issues with farm tools, machinery, or B&B facilities
- Supporting special projects, such as installing irrigation systems or renovating guest spaces
Ideal Candidates:
- Have experience in handyman work, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance
- Are skilled with tools and enjoy working with your hands
- Are proactive, resourceful, and able to problem-solve independently
- Are reliable, responsible, and have a positive attitude
- Enjoy working in a team and contributing to a shared goal
- Are willing to commit to a minimum of 1-2 months, longer stays preferred.
